Esta caracter\u00edstica le viene conferida por la presencia de fibras solubles e insolubles, lo que lo convierte en un alimento adecuado para quienes siguen una dieta para el control del peso. <strong>Sin embargo, la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica entre las distintas especies de kiwi no siempre es la misma<\/strong> y esto puede tener efectos tambi\u00e9n en la apetencia. Consideremos por ejemplo la especie <em>Actinidia deliciosa <\/em>e <em>actinidia china<\/em> y notamos c\u00f3mo su genoma es similar, as\u00ed como similar es su contenido en fructosa y glucosa. Si los comparamos con la especie de kiwi <em>actinidia arguta<\/em> La relaci\u00f3n entre sacarosa, glucosa y fructosa, en cambio, var\u00eda, resultando esta \u00faltima mucho m\u00e1s alta. Su consecuencia natural es tambi\u00e9n la de conferir un sabor m\u00e1s dulce que los anteriores. <em>Actinidia arguta <\/em>presenta adem\u00e1s niveles de 4 a 6 veces m\u00e1s altos de <em>inositol<\/em> respecto a <em>Actinidia deliciosa <\/em>e <em>Actinidia chinensis<\/em>, volvi\u00e9ndolo una de las fuentes alimentarias m\u00e1s ricas de este az\u00facar. El inositol representa un valioso aliado para nuestra salud y a menudo se recomienda en mujeres con s\u00edndrome de ovario poliqu\u00edstico para contrarrestar los trastornos relacionados con la resistencia a la insulina que estos sujetos a menudo presentan. Este ejemplo adicional nos demuestra c\u00f3mo las calor\u00edas del kiwi est\u00e1n equilibradas y c\u00f3mo los az\u00facares que contiene no son peligrosos para nuestra salud en sujetos sanos. Por el contrario<strong> el uso diario y correcto del kiwi representa un alimento equilibrado<\/strong> por su contenido de az\u00facar y puede incluirse en cualquier tipo de dieta. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Las calor\u00edas del kiwi y la fruta en un contexto general<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p> Hoy en d\u00eda, adem\u00e1s de los beneficios reales de un alimento, el consumidor se pregunta cada vez m\u00e1s cu\u00e1ntas calor\u00edas contiene, como en el caso de las calor\u00edas y el kiwi, lo que a veces representa el \u00fanico factor para saber si puede consumirlo o no. Desde un punto de vista cient\u00edfico, es necesario tener una perspectiva m\u00e1s amplia, porque seg\u00fan c\u00f3mo decidamos comer los alimentos, estos tendr\u00e1n un impacto diferente en nuestro metabolismo. De hecho, es diferente elegir un alimento para consumir crudo o cocido, as\u00ed como es diferente comerlo solo o acompa\u00f1ado de otros alimentos. Es importante, por ejemplo, considerar otro valor, como el \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico. El \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico expresa un valor num\u00e9rico que indica el aumento de glucosa en sangre tras el consumo de un alimento. Cuanta m\u00e1s fibra, soluble e insoluble, contenga un alimento, menor ser\u00e1 su \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico. <strong>El kiwi de media tiene un \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico de 52. <\/strong>Cuando pensamos en frutas, nos vienen a la mente alimentos buenos, sanos, naturales y dulces. Contienen, de hecho, una cantidad considerable de fructosa y por eso se recomienda limitar su consumo a un m\u00e1ximo de cuatro porciones al d\u00eda. La fructosa, es decir, el az\u00facar presente en la fruta, es a\u00fan m\u00e1s dulce que la sacarosa, el az\u00facar blanco com\u00fan, pero su comportamiento dentro de nuestro organismo es diferente. De hecho, para ser utilizado por el organismo, la fructosa es transformada por el h\u00edgado en glucosa y es precisamente esta transformaci\u00f3n la que hace que los az\u00facares no suban tan r\u00e1pidamente en la sangre como ocurre con otros az\u00facares simples. La sacarosa, por ejemplo, compuesta por una mol\u00e9cula de fructosa y una mol\u00e9cula de glucosa, provoca en cambio un aumento inmediato de los niveles de az\u00facar en la sangre. Por eso la fruta se convierte en un alimento bien tolerado por los diab\u00e9ticos en cantidades moderadas. <\/p>\n<h2>Frutas y p\u00e9rdida de peso<\/h2>\n<p> <strong>El consumo regular de frutas puede ayudarnos a controlar el apetito.<\/strong>, favoreciendo la p\u00e9rdida de peso. Numerosas investigaciones han demostrado c\u00f3mo la fructosa disminuye la cantidad de calor\u00edas y grasas consumidas en comparaci\u00f3n con la glucosa y la sacarosa, que en cambio favorecen un aumento del apetito. Estudios cient\u00edficos han demostrado esto con el siguiente experimento. Las personas involucradas se dividieron en dos grupos. Al primero se le proporcionaron bebidas que conten\u00edan fructosa y al segundo, bebidas que conten\u00edan sacarosa, edulcorante como aspartamo o glucosa, en ambos casos treinta minutos antes de acceder a un buffet de consumo ilimitado. Los resultados fueron un\u00e1nimes: quienes hab\u00edan recibido alimentos o bebidas endulzadas con fructosa comieron significativamente menos calor\u00edas y grasas en comparaci\u00f3n con los grupos que hab\u00edan recibido aspartamo, glucosa y sacarosa.
