Chocolate Kiwi Crêpes

Ingredients

for 4 people

  • 2 eggs
  • 300ml of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 170g 00 flour
  • 1 knob of butter
  • 2 green Jingold kiwis
  • 250g dark chocolate
  • 50 ml double cream

Preparation

In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk and a pinch of salt. Add the flour, sifting it to avoid lumps. Once you have a smooth, velvety batter, let it rest in the fridge. Meanwhile, peel the kiwis and slice them thinly. Break up and melt the chocolate in a small saucepan with the fresh cream, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy, and leave it to rest at room temperature. Now, heat a crêpe maker or, alternatively, a non-stick pan greased with a little butter. When it's hot, pour in the batter one ladleful at a time, making sure to create round discs. Cook over low heat on both sides. Once golden, place the crêpes on plates, arrange slices of kiwi on one-third of the disc, and roll them into a cone shape. Gently pour the chocolate sauce over your crêpes, decorate as desired, and Enjoy your meal!
